Media

As we continue our campaign here at MSU to push our campus away from coal, it is extremely important that we get our name out to both students and East Lansing community members. In order to do this we work with local media outlets, including The State News, Lansing State Journal, Channel 10 and 6, and other radio and online media. By pitching to these local media outlets, using social media, writing Letters to the Editor, and holding press conferences we can ensure that our message of a coal-free MSU is being heard. The Media group is so important because it creates a broader range of outreach for our campaign and, more importantly, it applies pressure to the Administration. Also, the media team will be creating both educational and parody videos in an attempt to increase our multimedia work.
